My Week At Summer Camp
At John’s Summer Camp I met some new friends. Their names are: John, the camp counselor, Gabriel, Connor, Ben, Kane, and Anna. On Monday, we went Mini Putting on Colonnade Road near Merivale. I ate my lunch in the picnic area. There are 36 holes I had to play. It was exciting because I completed all 36. I saw towers that looked like pylons. On Tuesday, we went to see a movie called Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation. I found the movie was long like 2 and a half hours. My favorite part of the movie was when the man swam underwater. He was brave. On Wednesday, we went to the Walkley Bowling Alley. I got 3 strikes and I got a turkey. I got 5 strikes throughout the game. I won the entire game. It was lots of fun! On Thursday, we went to Petrie Island. Do you know what I saw on our walk? I saw a crocodile or at least John told me I did. Then we went to Place D’Orleans mall. I saw Schleich toys at Miss Tiggy Winkles. On Friday, we went to St. Hubert’s for lunch. John told me they don’t have chicken fingers, but the waitress said they do! Then we went to Laser Tag. I could say like “Let’s shoot lasers!” These kind of lasers don’t hurt you. I like Friday the best because I love Laser Tag! This was the best I’ve ever been too. This camp is so exciting. John is my best camp counselor ever! I love the Spectrum Insights camp on Bank Street!

Steve and I just wanted to send you a thank you for setting up this camp for Michael's age group.
This was something that Michael looked forward to every day (without complaints of getting up in the morning) and had something positive to say each evening when we talked about the events of the day.
We would often ask him to name the teens in the group and explain his day to day and on occasion would ask if there was one camper in particular that he enjoyed his or her company .... and he always said John lol.
thanks again for a positive week and please keep us posted should you have anything for Michael's age group in the future.
